In November 2024, Mizuho MOT-5602BW operating table was provided to the Marshall Islands along with a C-arm machine as part of Japan’s ODA grants. For celebrating National Radiologic Week in the Marshall Islands, a special radiology training session was held using MOT-5602BW operating table.

The Republic of the Marshall Islands is a country comprising coral atolls located near the equator in the Micronesia region of the Pacific Ocean. Japan’s ODA has been used for supporting the infrastructure development, such as road development, market center construction, and gymnastic hall construction. We hope the provided C-arm and Mizuho operating table can contribute to the advancement in the field of radiology and improvement of healthcare in the country.
